Mexico - Cancun

hola amigos,
Après un voyage agréable (dans l'avion de Oaxaca à Cancun) nous sommes arrivés vers 20h30 chez mon cousin à Playa del Carmen. Notre arrivée était une petite surprise car ils pensaient que nous arrivions un jour plus tard:) Nous parlons de notre aventure sur la côte pacific ainsi que des paysages et villes que nous avons visités. Vendredi après-midi nous avons déjà pris le bus pour Cancun ou un vieil ami de Claude nous attendait. Claude a fait connaissance il y a 10 ans avec la famille d'Alfredo et ils sont restés en contact depuis.
On our arrival we had a welcome beer and visited their new house with swimming pool and big garden. After so many years I was very happy to see the family and to see their smiles in the new environment. We had lots of things to talk about and the time passed by quickly. Saturday my cousin joined us with the kids and we played most of the day in the garden. Selene organized
rips, other friends joined us for dinner and we had a good time. (see photo album) The soccer, baseball, badminton etc. games were on again in the garden on Sunday before we headed to Cancun to a playground for the kids. For dinner we decided to buy different food from pizza to Chinese and mexican food. Soon it was getting time to say good-bye to my cousins family who took a bus back to Playa del Carmen. The rest of the evening we chilled out and looked forward to spend our last day in mexico at the beaches in Cancun. Unfortunately shortly after midnight I felt very bad in my stomach and it turned out that I caught the famous "Turista". Instead of spending a nice day at the beach it forced me to stay in bed. I felt bad that I couldn't even play with the kids in the late afternoon and I could only hope to feel better the next (05h00) morning to catch the plane(s) to Switzerland. The kids were sweet and gave us a big hug before going to bed that night. I was able to sweat over night and to my relief I felt much better to go to the airport. We said good-bye to Alfredo and Selene drove us to the airport where we checked-in around 05h30 to Switzerland.
