Mexico - Puerto Escondido

Hola amigos,
The bus from San Cristobal de las Casas to Puerto Escondido arrived as scheduled at 10h00. As expected we didn't sleep so well and on our arrival we booked at the closest guesthouse for 1 night. After a short walk on the famous Zicatela surf beach we took a good nap. For the first time during our Trip we had to open our pharmacy bag. Nathalie wasn't feeling so well, sore throat and fever.
As we decided to stay for 10 days in Puerto Escondido we looked for a nice accommodation close to the beach and within our budget. We found Hotel Ines which has a nice pool, restaurant and a lovely bungalow with hammock in front. After all this travelling we thought we deserve to "relax" at one place for a couple of days.
Our daily activities include running at the beach, surfing, reading books, enjoying the tropical juices, great food, specially seafood and the sun. However the sun is simply too hot over lunch time and you try to be inactive as possible. Like we already would have a tough life...:)
Claude met another guy from the alps (Austria) to go surfing. The big waves on Zicatela beach have dropped tremendously and allowed us to enjoy not only the surfing but simply to feel free with ourselves and nature.
Unfortunately we won't be able to provide you with stunning images from Puerto Escondido. Our digital camera occurs to have a lens problem and doesn't work any longer. Once we head back to Playa del Carmen we will send you more pictures from our last days in Mexico.
